Nice photo of the Liffey

Here is another nice photo of the Liffey in Dublin. The purple colour gives a great mood to the photo.

Liffey Photos Dublin Ireland

After some months, I want to post again photos of the Liffey river in Dublin in Ireland. As mentioned in previous posts, I took dozens of photos of the Irish river in the year 2002. I hope you like the photos.

The river Liffey in Dublin Ireland

After some weeks, I am back posting photos of the Liffey river in Dublin in Ireland. This photo of the Liffey got my attention because depicts depth. The different colours on the buildings next to the Liffey, portray the distances between them.

In some of the buildings the sun light is brighter, and in some others there is no light, only shadows. Very interesting photo of the Liffey in Dublin.

Another point of view of the Liffey in Dublin

I have published previously a similar photo of the Liffey. This one is from another perspective, from the Millenium Bridge in Dublin. The way the clouds are over Dublin, makes this photo of our series of photos of the Liffey, very interesting.

Gray Blue photo of the Liffey in Dublin

This photo of the Liffey in Dublin has some colours we have not seen in past photos. It might be blurry, but it does make a difference from the past photos of this blog.

Liffey photo in Dublin, Ireland

What I am going to say is no news for the average photographer, but perhaps it is for the rest of the people. If you wait for some seconds, specially when taking photos of sunsets, the colours of your photos will change from one photo to the next. The photo will change as well depending to which element you give more priority: the sky, the water, the shadows, the sun, etc.

In today's photo of the Liffey, the colours are different from several photos I did exactly the same day in exactly the same position. In other photos, when the sky is the objective, the photo of the Liffey is clearer and goes more to purple, in some other photos goes to blue, but still had some combinations of purple.

In our photo of the Liffey above, the colour is blue. But still a very nice combination with the rest of the elements and colours in the photo.

Photo of a Blue sunset Liffey

In this photo of the Liffey, you can see how the wind moves the water on the river. It is a bit blurry, the photo, but the image is still nice.

Night photo of the Liffey, Dublin

I have several night photos of the Liffey that are blurry, because it was cold, because I was in a hurry and I wanted to get home, or because my pulse is not the best for night photos. In the night photo of the Liffey above, I got a clear photo. The combination of light colours is interesting, not spectacular as in other photos, but interesting still.

Beautiful sunset Dublin Liffey photo

I really like this photo of the Liffey in Dublin. Pictures motion, reflects a cosmopolitan city, but also the beauty of Dublin. All the different colours of the sunset add a nice contrast to the photo as well.

Photo Low tide Liffey

This is another photo of the Liffey with low tide. It was not an often phenomenon in Dublin, to see the Liffey with so few water and looked strange. Normally, the are no boats in the Liffey, so the low tide was not really a problem. But it really took away some of the beauty of Dublin in downtown. Don't forget you can click on the photo for a larger format. And if you want to use this photo of the Liffey or any other photo, please let me know!

Photo Cold day Dublin Liffey

A typical grey day in Dublin and our photo of the Liffey. Nothing extraordinary.

Photo of a purple sunset over the Liffey

This is a nice photo of a purple coloured Liffey. A nice sunset as the night falls in Dublin. You can see traffic lines on both sides of the river, and the reflection of the street lamps on the Liffey.

Vertical photo of the Liffey

I like this photo of the Liffey as is divided in three parts: the nice formation of clouds at the top, the rain clouds in the middle and the rays of light under. And of course you have our usual view of the Liffey at the bottom. Very nice photo indeed.

Photo of the Liffey after the rain

In this photo of the Liffey, the view is so clean, that I can oly think that I took it right after it stopped raining. You really can see a clear picture of our typical view of the Liffey.

A photo of a great sunset by the Liffey

The colours of this photo of the Liffey are very strong and realistic. No surprise the photo is a diapostive and not a negative. The reflection of the sky on the Liffey is very intense as well. A very nice photo indeed.

Photo of curious clouds over the Liffey

I like this photo because of the colours and because of the curious formations of the clouds over the Liffey. The shape of the pink coloured cloud is very interesting.

Another photo of a sunset by the Liffey

Yet another photo of a great sunset by the Liffey. Nice colours in the background: pink-blue-purplish sky. And the orange light of the street lamps are very nice as well.

Photo of a plane and the Liffey

In this photo of the Liffey I managed to capture the line of a plane on the horizon over the Liffey. It is interesting as it is right in the middle of the photo. You can click on the photo for a larger version.

Beautiful sunset by the Liffey in Dublin

With the weather in Dublin it was seldom that you could find a tranquil, still river Liffey. On this particular photo, the Liffey was very still, enough to get a nice reflection of the street lamps on the water. I like this photo a lot, as it shows different colours: pink, purple, blue and many tones more in between.

Photo of the sun over the Liffey

Today we have a photo of the sun over the Liffey. It is nice, you can even see the reflection on the river. It is not completely dark as in other photos as you can still see the facades on the buildings on both sides of the Liffey.
